Amazing but battery just hanging bad needs Velcro. DIDNT GET FREE TUNER!!!!!
I love this guitar. I have several guitars, Gibsons, Fenders, Ovation, and others. I wanted an inexpensive guitar to bang around on. Wow what a treat! This guitar plays so nice. The action is better than my ovation. The sound is perfect, the quality is great, the look is great, light weight. The gig bag is also of a nice quality. Would buy without hesitation. Quick shipment too.
I had it just a few days. I like it very much. The guitar has now begun to develop really good projecting tone. I had fined tune and made these adjustments. The pickup works well with my Fishman amp.
These are my adjustments: 1. Brought action to the lowest position possible , during the process I had sanded the saddle bone down a tad too much, so the 1st string had some light buzz starting from the 9th frets to higher, replaced the new saddle bone and it is now just right. The guitar has got the tone after overnights with easy action to play 2. adjusted the truss rod (just a tad) to straighten the neck. 3. Replaced my favorite set of string and keep string gauge (11-50).
These are minor works I would do for any new guitars.
Positive marks: Nice fret work, although the fret is not rounded , stainless steel kind but it has no sharp ends. The guitar intonation is spot on no need further adjustments.
I would prefer a matte finish instead of glossy, I wish Winzz had. The finishing seems too thick of a finishing layer. The guitar is very slippery very hard to hold and place it on my lap so I ordered a pad to stick a the bottom to take care of this.
Good price, good guitar, I would give it a 5/5 .
It is a must have instrument whether you are a beginner or a professional player.. Highly recommended.
I literally unboxed the guitar and played it at a gig the first time I touched it. Very even sound across the fretboard, nice action and good sound.
However there was a slight rattle at times. Traced it after the gig to the battery not being secured to the back of the guitar. Discovered quickly that it was only secured by a Velcro strip. Poor plan.
The rest of the package is great value, but a 2 dollar clip would go a very long way.
